Market Study on Project Management in the Construction Industry
-
The aim of the research project was to present the market structure of service providers for construction project management and of companies that provide these services entirely themselves as the client. This market structure is intended to generate further insights into the performance profile of the project manager in accordance with AHO Booklet 9 and its application in the German construction industry.

Project Management
-
The lecture provides an introduction to construction project management. It takes a closer look at the organisation and execution of a construction project from the client's perspective. In this context, various competences are presented that should be available for the implementation of successful project management. In addition, selected project management methods relating to individual competences are presented and applied in the context of case studies.

Project Management in Construction
-
The Master's module is based on the Bachelor's course ‘Project Management’ and expands on the content taught there on the organisation and execution of a construction project from the client's perspective. The focus is on the areas of requirements and objectives, forms of contractor deployment, costs and finance, deadlines and capacities as well as qualities and quantities. The content is applied using a case study during the semester.
