Many structures of the transport infrastructure systems are characterised by a high age and some of them have exceeded their planned useful life. In addition, the condition of a significant proportion of the infrastructure structures has deteriorated significantly in recent years, making it necessary to prioritise investments due to increasingly limited resources.

The manual stocktaking of technical equipment takes a lot of time and we try to automate the stocktaking. Digital tools should simplify and accelerate the process. The main concern is to determine the manufacturer and type designation of the existing equipment, as all other information is derived from these.
