On July 13, 2022, Mainzer Kreis awarded the NAIMMA sustainability prize for the first time in Frankfurt am Main. The aim of the award is to bring more sustainability to the real estate industry. Mainzer Kreis thus supports university graduates who are concerned with sustainability in the real estate industry. The Mainz Circle has existed for more than ten years as a committee in which experts from a total of 23 companies in the real estate industry exchange ideas on sustainability in the industry together with representatives of WISAG. Hanna Bonekämper is the first NAIMMA award winner from the Technical University of Cologne. She received the award for her vertical farming concept.
The NAIMMA is open to students who have addressed the topic of sustainability in the real estate industry in their master's or diploma thesis. The thesis must have been graded at least 2.0. The jury is made up of Mainzer Kreis participants from the management teams of D.R.E.A.M., FOUR PARX, HT Group, and WISAG, as well as a group of experts under the scientific direction of university professor Dr.-Ing. Kunibert Lennerts from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The NAIMMA is endowed with 7,500 euros.
